Andrew Chachula is an Associate Lawyer at Eric K. Gillespie Professional Corporation. Andrew practices civil and corporate/commercial litigation in the areas of environmental, administrative, and municipal law, as well as judicial reviews and class actions.
Andrew has published a chapter on "Canadian Carbon Markets & Sustainable Development" in Stanley D. Berger's Key Developments in Environmental Law 2016 (Toronto: Canada Law Book, 2016). He has also been a conference speaker on "The Paris Agreement & Natural Resource Management" at the "Emerging Challenges for International Law, Human Rights and Sustainability" international law conference at McGill University's Faculty of Law. Andrew is also the Natural Resources Program Manager and Legal Research Fellow with the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law.
Andrew holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Master’s degree in Environment & Sustainability, an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, and Certificate in Ethics from The University of Western Ontario. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015.
